Robert C Ryan has been a Managing Executive of Royal Alliance Associates Inc. branch office located in the Yuba-Sutter area for over nineteen years. His experience as a financial advisor both in San Francisco and the Yuba-Sutter area spans over 50 years. Mr. Ryan is a graduate of the University of Washington, School of Business, with a degree in Business Administration.  He is also a graduate of the New York Institute of Finance specializing in the work of the stock exchange and investment & security analysis. 

Mr. Ryan was a Managing Director of Birr, Wilson & Co. before founding Ryan Associates.  He has gone on to establish and serve as President of Ryan Wealth Management, Inc., an associate of Royal Alliance Associates, Inc. 

He is a Registered Investment Advisor, Registered Financial Planner and a Certified Investment Specialist. He holds a California Insurance License #0764776 for both Life and Variable Annuities.  He is a member of the International Association of Registered Financial Planners.

Mr. Ryan is actively involved in his community and has held such prestigious voluntary positions as: President of Yuba-Sutter United Way, President of the Buttes Area Council Boy Scouts of America where he was awarded the Silver Beaver award, President of Central Sacramento Valley Shriners, President of Rotary Club of Yuba City where he was made a Paul Harris fellow, and Foreman of the Sutter County Grand Jury.  He has been a frequent speaker on investment subjects at both Industry and Public Conferences.

Rob Ryan was raised in Marin County near San Francisco and moved to Yuba City in 1976. In 1980 he graduated while student body president of Yuba City High. He furthered his education by receiving a degree in Business/Economics from the University of California Santa Barbara.

Rob, looking for a greater challenge, applied for and was accepted to the United States Naval Flight Program. As an Officer and Pilot, he finished his active duty tour with over 2000 hours of FA-18 Hornet Aircraft fighter time, 180 aircraft carrier landings aboard several different ships, 40% of them at night, and six combat missions over Iraq. His last tour consisted of being a “bad guy” assisting the Top Gun school in adversarial “MIG” support, and teaching aerial combat dog-fighting to both new and experienced FA-18 Hornet pilots.

After returning to the area, Rob studied for and obtained his Series 7 and Series 63 securities registrations. Additionally, he received his Series 66 registration, which is a combination of the Uniform State Securities Agent and Uniform Investment Advisor registrations. He separately holds Life Insurance and Long Term Care licenses. California Insurance License # OCO5959

Rob is an experienced financial educator and Financial Consultant. His current clients are geographically spread from California to New Hampshire.  He has assisted hundreds of investors to invest over $50,000,000. For 11 years, he has been teaching investors, age 55+, how to help preserve their assets, increase their income, and reduce income taxes. He has advised employees of large corporations, teachers, and business executives approaching retirement.

 Rob has, in the past, been the voice of the "Market Update" on KOOL 104, and has spoken to nearly every community organization in his region. He also is a member of the Yuba City Rotary Club, sits on the Board of Directors for the Yuba-Sutter Arts Council and Sutter County Airport Advisory Committee, and is Chairman of the Board of a local Community Bank. He continues to work with and is a Commander with the Naval Reserves.  In addition, he is also a member of the Coast Guard Reserve Air Auxiliary assisting with Home Land Defense.
